JOB: Maintenance Engineer
RESPONSIBLE TO: Field Service Manager
RESPONSIBILITY:
• To take all reasonable care during the performance of their work for the Health and Safety of themselves and others affected by their acts or omissions.
• To co-operate fully with Company, regulatory authorities and/or third parties to ensure compliance with applicable legislation.
• Demonstrate behaviour consistent with Company vision and core values.
• Together with workshop management co-ordinate effective workshop planning to meet OTD.
• Availability of Company tooling, equipment and parts for assigned work orders to meet OTD agreed with the delivery unit.
• Responsible for planning and onshore maintenance coordination of all project needs
• Responsible for monitoring and providing status of onshore work/activities and overall delivery schedules in the project
• Call off and follow-up on parts and services required for workshop activity.
• Keeping SAP and other business reporting systems updated at all times.
• Any other Workshop Support related tasks deemed necessary to meet base objectives.
• Coordinate the overall Maintenance Management System (MMS) and MMS strategy within the Baku base.
AUTHORITY:
• Authority to stop an unsafe act or condition without fear of reprisal and with the full backing of Company’s Management.
• To act on behalf of Company, limited to activities and tasks as described in Business Management System.
• To implement or propose measures and methods for more efficient planning and logistic movements within the workshop support group.
• Seek solutions with supporting functions to any deviations to agreed OTD.
MAIN TASKS:
• Together with Workshop Management, agree and coordinate workshop activity.
• Responsible for workshop planning and capacity schedule report in accordance with OTD agreed with the delivery unit and report to delivery unit if schedule deviates.
• Monitor and review work center capacity.
• Monitor and review Service Notifications for Recertification / Maintenance on Workshop Equipment
• Create Manual Requisitions for miscellaneous goods and services.
• Call off and follow-up on parts and services required for workshop activity.
• Create, populate and print Service Orders when required including work-scopes for Workshop and approve Purchase Orders to Third Party Suppliers in line with EUAZ Procedures and guideline
• Coordinate the transport of tooling, test equipment or parts within the service base or to subcontractor for 3rd party services.
• Ensure any new deliveries for workshop or Company rental tooling are registered in SAP and MMS plans are set up.
• Responsible for uploading and maintaining MMS plans in SAP.
• Ensure availability of Company’s owned test equipment and Rental equipment and/or third party equipment/CPI to perform task, informing delivery unit or requestor if parts unavailable.
• Support the project with rental tools according to call off in ETM, ensuring they meet agreed OTD and in line with Company’s quality requirements.
• Evaluate if tool or equipment is fit for purpose based on ongoing work and maintenance history
• Customer contact within project planning and workshop scheduling
• Establish and maintain project plans for execution of the work covering activities, durations and milestones, in accordance with Company standard planning methods
• Liaise with other Company plants worldwide with regards to tool availability to support project.
• Give input to In-country Manager for raising new AFE’s to support project.
• Give input to Technical Quote Lead for MMS contract quotations.
• Support Line Manager as requested.
• Participate in all base health and safety initiatives.
• Ensure all reports such as SOSR, OTD and MMS KPI’S are maintained and communicated to relevant parties (i.e. line manager, project manager/co-ordinator).
• Be focal point for all MMS/SAP support for internal customers.
• Lead process revisions, training and implementation timings for SAP and MMS.
MANDATORY SW-APPLICATIONS TO BE MANAGED:
• SAP ( including delivery/ warehouse management )
• E-plan
• MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
• Project planning software such as MS Project or Primavera
RECOMMENDED EXPERIENCE AND FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Engineering Degree Qualified (minimum BEng or equivalent) or relevant experience gained within the oil and gas / similar industry.
• In-depth knowledge of UCON-H Tooling operation and maintenance requirements.
• Excellent PC skills including with a strong working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines and complete multiple (often conflicting) tasks, both independently, and as part of a wider team.
• Experience of working within a technical or engineering environment (Knowledge of subsea equipment is beneficial).
• Team player, creative and enthusiastic with a positive and professional customer service attitude to work, ensuring customer needs as well as company’s visions, policies, procedures and goals are met.
• Knowledge of Project planning software is beneficial.
• Understanding within administrative, economic, planning and logistics routines.
• Recognise the impact of variances to scope, cost and schedule.
