Junior Procurement Sourcing Specialist

Job responsibilities:

- Evaluation of vendors and suppliers based on quality, price, and speed of delivery;
- Communicate frequently with vendors to learn about their products, services, and prices;
- Prepare reports on the suppliers and vendors and submit them for review;
- Keep up to date with industry trends and network with new suppliers;
- Be informed about the accurate price, quality, availability, and reliability of a product;
- Sourcing suppliers and maintaining long-lasting relationships with them as well as with existing suppliers;
- Working with legal counsel to ensure that all contracts relating to product procurement contain all details of the negotiation;
- Analyze vendor capabilities and conduct supplier assessments;
- Analyzing industry and demand trends and supporting senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies;
- Selecting the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency;
- Providing solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing.

Required qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in finance or related fields;
- Knowledge of Azerbaijani, English, and Russian languages;
- Ability to build the right work process;
- Ability to work in a team environment;
- Ability to make accurate decisions based on analysis, experience, organizational and judgment skills;
- Analytical thinking skills;
- Ability to work reliably and correctly when not supervised;
- Computer soft skills such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel is mandatory).
