Position: Accountant Assistant

Department: Finance

Reports to: Accountant

Areas of Responsibility Include:

Job Role Responsibilities:

 Daily reconciliation of local suppliers’ receptions with invoices
 Prepare reconciliation acts on quarter basis
 Set up proper communication with local suppliers, including finance teams
 Follow up all open receptions
 Clean up of advances and payables (merchandise part)

Position Qualification

Experience

 Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk
 Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
 Familiarity with finance regulations
 Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
 Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
 Organization skills
 Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
 BSc/Ba in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
 Strong verbal, written communication, strong computer (MS Office – Excel) skills
 Fluency in English, Azerbaijani and Russian
