Job Title: Recruitment Manager
Summary and Purpose of Role:
Managers sourcing, interviewing and employment processes to ensure qualified employees hired to meet company’s current and future needs.
Areas of Responsibility Include:
Supervision:
Report directly to HR & Admin Director
Work directly with all departments
Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
Setting clear team goals
Delegating tasks and set deadlines
Oversee day-to-day operation and daily performance of Recruitment team
Monitor team performance and report on metrics
Motivate team members
Discover development needs and provide coaching
Control Purchase Orders raised by Recruitment team
Job Role Responsibilities:
Ensure that Company Policies and Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to and followed at all times
Develop and manage effective work forth planning process
Develop, manage and monitor sourcing and recruitment process
Conduct market research to ensure the variety of vendors (Recruitment Agencies) available for further consideration
Liaise with external suppliers, agencies, Universities and government-funded bodies as required to promote Company as potential Employer
Implement various recruitment and sourcing methods
Update current and design new recruiting procedures (e.g. job application and onboarding processes)
Amend and revise materials as necessary, in order to adapt to changes that occur to make them fit the purpose/business requirement
Supervise the recruiting team and report on its performance
Keep track of recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-hire and cost-per-hire)
Prepare and submit required daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to HR&A Director
Review recruitment software and suggest the best option for company needs
Research and choose job advertising options
Coach the recruitment team on best practice and interviewing techniques
Recommend ways to improve employer brand
Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs
Stay up-to-date on labor legislation and inform recruiters and managers about changes in regulations
Participate in job fairs and career events
Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners
Position Qualification Education
Bachelors’ degree
Knowledge
Solid experience and knowledge in sourcing and recruitment
Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
Knowledge of labor legislation
In-depth knowledge of HR metrics
Experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation
Familiarity with social media and other professional networks
Proficient in MS Office
Degree in Management or training in team leading is a plus
