Development and modernization of agricultural production in Azerbaijan is very important part of “Synergy Group”'s long-term vision. Azerbaijan has uniquely diverse and favorable climatic conditions for production of quality products. With that in mind “Synergy Group” made a strategic investment into restoration of wine-making tradition of the country and in 2010 “Synergy Group” modernized once old winery that was established in 1970 in Siyazan and ceased its operations in 1990s.
Nowadays known as Caspian Coast Winery & Vineyards - subsidiary of Synergy Group OJSC, the plant produces 21 brands of high quality wines and 3 brands of cognac. Caspian Coast Winery is known with the finest and authentic Azerbaijani wine brands Matrasa and Bayan Shira. Other brand names include Hamya, Shani, Four Seasons, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Rkatsiteli and etc. The plant was completely rebuilt with modern European equipment and has a processing capacity of 8000 tn. of grapes per year.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
• Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible, and advising senior management on maximizing business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish.
• Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.
• Responsible for development of a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the organization’s presence throughout Azerbaijan Republic.
• Develop the annual marketing plan, specifically advising on: realistic forecasts for each product and territory (based on historical data, market trends, competitive activity, promotional strategy and sales effort), realistic costs of operating the sales force; and sales promotion program plans.
• Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures.
• Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
• Prepare and execute promotional campaigns.
• Maintain good relationship with the public media including local advertising firms and national magazines and e-newspapers.
• Prepare and execute promotional campaigns.
• Direct foreign sales and service outlets of an organization.
• Ensure that all sales representative activities are in accordance with the guidelines of the Production, Storage and Sales of wine guidelines in Azerbaijan Republic.
Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years of work experience in Sales field;
• University Degree (Communications, Media, Public Relations, Journalism);
• Excellent knowledge of Azeri, English and Russian languages;
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, including but not limited to PowerPoint and other graphics and/or presentation software.
• Exceptional communications and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to motivate others and inspire them to work with dedication;
• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements;
• Experience in writing media releases, articles and externally focused communications for a range of audiences;
• Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues/problems;
• Willing to travel to the regions of Azerbaijan and abroad.
