Commercial Assistant
The successful candidates should have:
• To have experience of site works/conditions
• Must be able to communicate well.
• Ability to work well with other and provide support and assistance to cover peak work load
• To have a flexible approach to duties especially during busy periods and provide role overlap
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:
• Ensure that all invoices are processed for payment timely with a good audit trail.
• Liaise with Accounts department to ensure that they receive all information as and when required.
• Complete account records to be submitted to BP, reconciling invoiced values to purchase order values.
• Enter all invoices on System against the appropriate order.
• Match all invoices in system against MRV's (Material Received Vouchers).
• Perform commercial attest on invoices within system to ensure that the correct quantities are invoiced at the correct price.
• All filing and ancillary work involved in processing procurement invoices.
• Various filing and other ad-hoc duties in support of the BPG commercial department.
• Ensure Health & Safety Responsibilities (ref. SHEQ Responsibilities attached) are adhered to and understood
• Prepare onshore and offshore time writing reports from TimeNet for invoice backup
• Operate the TimeNet time recording system and provide assistance to all typewriters.
