Senior Procurement Specialist

What are the expected from the candidate:

• Maintain relationships with vendors, including negotiating contracts and reviewing contracts for legal compliance;
• Review purchase orders and ensure that they are in line with company policies and procedures;
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers who can meet the company’s needs;
• Coordinate with the team to ensure that orders are processed correctly;
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate inventory and procurement records;
• Ensure timely deliveries and resolve any supply issues or discrepancies.

What qualifications the candidate need to possess:

• University degree in economics, management, business or supply chain management;
• 5+ years of practical experience in vendor management, overseas and domestic sourcing, and procurement experience across multiple categories of spend in the hospitality industry;
• Proficient in MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages are required;
• Teamwork skills;
• Excellent cognitive skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving;
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and project management skills;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision;
• Ability to analyze options, understand risks and make recommendations;
• Self-driven, highly motivated, and initiative.
