AMEC is a major Engineering and Construction Company involved in Oil and Gas Projects in Azerbaijan is looking for

Work Pack Engineer

The successful candidates should have:

• 5-10 years work-related experience preferably with off-shore exposure
• Degree in Engineering
• Proactive attitude.
• Proficiency in CMMS systems would be beneficial
• Excellent knowledge of work preparation and scheduling techniques
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and equipment in oil and gas industry
• Clear understanding of the principles of Work Preparation and Scheduling and the importance of adhering to standards and procedures.
• Previous TAR experience
• Knowledge of safety hazards, and appropriate precautions applicable to work assignments
• Skill in reading, interpreting and applying information from files, drawings, catalogues, reports and manuals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:

• Developing work packs for mechanical / instruments / electrical / piping related TAR work orders at the asset locations as assigned through work identification and prioritization processes.
• Preparation of detailed scopes, work packs, materials list for the TAR work orders.
• Obtaining technical input from Discipline Engineers / TAs for the development of work orders / packs, major/minor plant changes and major repairs.
•   Proactively engaging the Supply Chain, vendors and subcontractors to ensure work is scheduled accurately based on material and vendor availability dates.
•   Maintaining all assigned work orders in the associated computer systems.
• Preparation permits and Task Risk Assessments for all scopes.
• Liaising with operations focal points to ensure execution methodology is understood and aligned with operating codes.
