Field Inspector

The successful candidates should have:

•  Good Team player skills with a proactive, safety oriented mind set.
•  Communication skills; ability to motivate and influence people
• Technical and administrative skills
•  Valid Field Quality Control experience.
• Organization, planning and problem-solving skills

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:

• Facilitate the safe, timely and economical delivery of the project to our client.
• Follow the procedures, programs and policies that AMEC has developed to ensure the delivery of a quality product to our client.
• Support the quality manager in day-to-day site activities and issues with contractors and/or suppliers.
• Assist in developing and coordinating special activities and programs necessary to meet and maintain quality standards.
• Monitor field quality testing, collect data and assist with compiling that data into a document(s) that will be accepted by our client.
• Support any approved measurement activities required to resolve problems. This may include interfacing with engineering and procurement and may include shop visits.
• Promote safety programs and quality performance improvement programs throughout the project.
• Assist with the development of and maintenance of documentation and control procedures.
• Write technical reports as required.
