AMEC is a major Engineering and Construction Company involved in Oil and Gas Projects in Azerbaijan is looking for Quality Advisor (National).

The successful candidate should have:

• Oil & Gas engineering or fabrication experience
• Ability to understand project specifications, procedures and national standards
• Good communication skills and able to remain calm under pressure
• Team player with keen desire to develop and succeed

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:

• To carry out specific QA/QC Department activities under the guidance of the Senior QA/QC Engineer and as directed and instructed by the Project Quality Manager.
• Ensure procedural compliance to ‘get it right first time’
• Ensure products are delivered to the specified quality requirements
• Promote the close-out of actions within the specified timeframe to achieve the agreed Quality KPIs
• Develop strong and productive working relationships with process owners throughout all levels of the organization
• Constructively challenge existing methods of work and suggest suitable alternatives, aimed at process improvement
• Planning, performing and reporting quality management system audits.
• Non-conformance Reports ensuring root cause, and corrective and preventive action is applied
• Follow up audit / NCR actions to ensure satisfactory close-out in the Action Tracker
• Monitor OS&D reports to satisfactory resolution and close-out
• Review material certification at the Warehouse and formally release material in PaMMS
• Review and approve Fabrication and Material Requisitions and their Criticality Sheets
• Support the QC inspector in areas of conflict or interpretation of specification requirements
• Monitor the issue of fabrication dossiers by using the Fabrication Register
• Monitor the issue of IRCs for fabricated items and supplied material
• Liaise with Project to resolve any quality related issues
