Product development manager (Cloud products)

Responsibilities:  

• To identify customer needs and desires by obtaining and researching market data on cloud products;
• To execute in-depth research about customer needs and provide feedback to engineering teams on how to optimize products;
• Develops a deep understanding of IT market dynamics and competitive insights to identify new opportunities;
• Work with the product team to understand the vision and overall product roadmap, customer research, and product metrics;
• To contribute to defining cloud business goals and metrics;
• To develop metrics for product adoption, measuring adoption, and maintain metrics for product performance that align to business goals;
• To gather requirements from key stakeholders to align them with business goals;
• Consistently brief stakeholders on project statuses and consider feedback;
• To lead the development of product strategies;
• To form and manage the initial stage of product development, as well as the requirements and results related to the creation, management, and documentation of the product;
• To create and increase products that take place in the market and allow it to be competitive;
• To own the product life cycle in an agile environment by assessing opportunities, crafting solutions, and delivering valuable product features;
• To launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly;
• To drive product quality improvement during design and manufacturing stages;
• Develop solutions to problems by collaborating across product areas and functions;
• Deliver detailed use cases, workflows, and requirements well ahead of final design and engineering;
• To create positioning statements, marketing, and sales training materials, product specifications;
• To present training materials to internal sales force as well as externally.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Technology or Mathematics fields
• Strong understanding of market trends and customer needs
• Have a technical background and strong quantitative skills
• Strong knowledge of SQL and non-SQL
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Be aware of the brands and products of cloud platforms
• 3+ years of product management focused on end-to-end technical solution delivery
• 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional tech and non-tech teams to build and launch technology products
• Creative thinker, to develop new strategies and solutions
• Ability to lead extended teams and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills
• Fluency in Azeri, Russian; English, both written and verbal.
