Job description:

• Exciting opportunity to join OBA finance team as Head of Financial Control.
• The role is mainly responsible for overseeing accounting processes and  preparation/reporting of financial statements (as a department).
• The role will report into CFO.
• Main stakeholders will be Chief Accountant and Head of Business Control (both reporting into CFO) in OBA Business.
• Besides, He/She will closely work with Group Financial Controller and Internal Audit team.

Main responsibilities:

• Prepare set of financial statements (P/L, BS and CF) and report on main financial KPIs
• Identify the use of accounts and maintain chart of accounts on continues basis
• Own Month End Closing process and make sure the process is complete every month within the deadline
• Make sure transactions are booked as per IFRS and company specific standards
• Continues review of completeness of accounting entries and correct deviations
• Make sure account balances are correct
• Identify reasons for unusual expenses and changes in expense dynamics
• Improve accounting and reporting processes.
• Make sure proper documentation in accounting is in place
• Prepare accounting policies and procedures
• Arrange work with Internal Audit. Ensure review and implementation of their recommendations
• Arrange work with External Audit. Respond to enquiries.

Requirements:

• Higher education in accounting/finance and be qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/CPA)
• 3-5 years of financial control/reporting experience in a large organization is a must.
• Prior Big4 audit experience would be a plus.
• Excellent excel skills. 
• Highly organized individual, being able to set priorities and deliver within tight deadlines
• Outstanding management and relationship skills

Work schedule:

• Working hours: 09:00 – 18:00;
• Lunch break: 13:00-14:00
• Saturday and Sunday are non-working days.
