Experience and skills required: 

  • 1+ years of professional experience in managing a cross-functional product team (setting tasks, organizing and scheduling work, building and developing the team) 
  • Successfully completed advanced analytics projects (desirably)
  • Knowledge of machine learning and statistical techniques and understanding of their business use
  • Understanding of broad business banking products and processes 
  • Business, projects financial analysis
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making and leadership skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a focus on delivering customer and business value
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams
  • Fluent in Azerbaijani and English, both verbal and written

Statement of duties (What you will be expecting to do):

Managing a cross-functional team:

  • Strategic development and execution of the product development roadmap
  • Detailed planning (incl. schedules, deadlines and key milestones) and resource allocation for analytical projects 
  • Build and maintain a prioritized product backlog and clearly communicate the requirements to the key Stakeholders
  • Support team recruitment and development

Building analytics models:

  • Communicate with the Members of the Executive Board: understand, translate and map strategic priorities into analytical projects
  • Facilitate solutions across the organization; work with legal, risk, operations, design and technology teams to prioritize and deliver advanced analytics solutions
  • Follow change management procedures to deploy new software, features, and enhancements
  • Gather market intelligence and identify opportunities to improve product competitiveness and increase its usage
  • End-to-End ownership for the advanced analytics solutions, its ongoing refinement and development towards better performance
  • Collaborate with the Agile Coach to ensure successful agile ceremonies: sprint-planning, demos, retrospectives, etc.
  • Provide direction on the development, testing, and refinement of UX prototypes in an Agile environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in quantitative (desirably) or management discipline
  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • 1+ years of experience in product development (desirably - building digital products with Agile methodology)
