AMEC is a major Engineering and Construction Company involved in Oil and Gas Projects in Azerbaijan is looking for Certification Engineer.
The successful candidates should have:
• Minimum 6 years Oil & Gas experience in all aspects of QA/QC certification
• Ability to work on own initiative
• GOC Completion Management System experience
• Good communication and formal reporting skills in English and able to actively contribute at project and site meetings
• Good computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Access databases.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:
• To carry out the specific QA Department activities as detailed in the Contract Quality Plan and as directed and instructed by the Project QA Manager.
• To be conversant with the Project HS&E Plan. Proactively participate in achieving the highest possible International standard of HSE implementation
• Supervision and guidance to Certification Clerks, verification of the GOC database and implementation of Guidance on Certification (GOC).
• Liaison with Discipline & Construction Engineers to ensure certification boundaries & requirements.
• Compilation of GOC certificates in line with system certification and boundary limits.
• Input of data to Handover Certification Packs (HCP) to assure continuous accurate handover records
• Liaison with Inspection, Construction, Commissioning, Mechanical Completions, to ensure adequate status recording of ongoing activities
• Ensuring adequacy of as-built drawing records and input to certification dossiers plus transmittal to design contractor
• Liase with Operations and commissioning teams during the finalisation of the handover phase through to final close out and systems handover.
• Provision of a weekly written report and monthly report inputs to line manager.
• Ensure Health & Safety Responsibilities (ref. SHEQ Responsibilities attached) are adhered to and understood
