What features are we looking for in a candidate?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience;
• Two or more relevant technical/professional security certifications (such as: COMPTIA Network+, Security+, SANS/GIAC, CEH);
• Previous experience in IT security/system/network operations and administration or programming;
• Previous experience within Security Operations Centers or Incident Response Teams;
• Knowledge of Information Security Tool deployment and operations;
• Solid problem solving and analytical skills;
• Finding security vulnerabilities by generating various attack scenarios for target systems;
• Technical Experience with cyber security investigative technologies such as packet capture analysis, host forensics and memory analysis tools;
• Extensive experience with one or more programming languages (Python, Dot Net, etc.);
• Demonstrated understanding of complex threat modeling techniques, in a cyber intelligence or cyber operations environment;

What does Cyber Security Engineer do?

• Designing audit procedures to assess IT security controls and meet audit objectives;
• Prepare audit reports, memoranda, and other documents; makes verbal presentations on audit findings/recommendations;
• Participation in the risk analysis process in the role of a technical expert;
• Develop and manage the continuous improvement of security controls;
• Ensure that security policy and security standards are implemented;
• Raising user awareness in technological areas;
• Provide operational incident support across a set of assigned technologies;
• Assist Information Asset Owners and other company teams to define and implement appropriate security recommendations;
• Involved in security breaches and threats, issue handling, and investigate violations when they occur;
• Communicate with peers and managers regarding security issues;
• Support all aspects of cyber security compliance under Risk Management Framework.

Additional information:

• Monday to Friday – 09:30-18:30
• Saturday – 10:00-14:00
