Leading Strategic Procurement Manager –Chemical Procurement

Job duties:

• To ensure uninterrupted supply of all structures and divisions of the company;
Search, analysis and selection of suppliers of raw materials and chemical additives
• To provide functional leadership for procurement practices and to facilitate the continuous improvement and successful the partnership between Buyer and Suppliers to achieve the lowest total cost of ownership.
• Responsible for the protection of the company's assets by procuring materials that meet Buyer`s strategic goals and provides the greatest overall monetary value to the supply chains.
• Delivery of product, logistics organisation;
• Quality control of purchased goods;
• Activity reports to function manager

Salary: Negotiable

Work conditions:

- Job type: full-time Monday-Friday;
- Working hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm;
- Workplace- Baku, Azerbaijan (Head office)

Requirements:

- Higher education;
- Age limit: 25-45;
- Language skills (Proficient in Azerbaijani, Russian, English);
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer and Outlook;
- Experience in External Procurement and Supply is mandatory (knowledge of chemistry, experience in purchasing chemical raw materials, knowledge of the basics of international trade is essential);
- Good Analytical and communication skills, negotiation skills, knowledge of pricing methods and strategies;
- Deep understanding of negotiation strategies, risk management, and value chain of various raw materials preferred.
- Experience in preparing procurement documents;
- Knowledge in procurement contracts;
- Experience working with customs; knowledge of customs clearance rules; logistics
- Be available for business trips.
