Category Manager for IT

Job brief

We are looking for a Category Manager to manage IT category. He/She will be responsible for assortment management and pricing strategy, sell out and promotion planning, contract and vendor management.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends (IT)
- Advice long-term development strategies for product categories
- To build relationship depending on trust with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services
- Assortment management and product matrix development per each store
- Collaboration with marketing team to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities
- Sell out planning on monthly, quarterly, yearly base –regular and promotion
- Determining of KVI by pricing and profitability

Requirements

- Proven experience as category manager or similar role - between 2-3 years of work experience
- Solid knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles
- Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Strong analytical skills with proven experience of Excel including Pivot Tables, V-Lookups
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Previous experience on strategic development, product management or product marketing, revenue targets and quotas is highly desirable
- Languages – Azeri (native), Russian (fluent), English (good/fluent) is desirable
