Sr. Mechanical Site Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities/Əsas Vəzifə Öhdəlikləri:

• Review submitted shop drawings and material submittals (and the like) against the drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements
• Review the construction documents and coordinate with the other engineering disciplines
• Provide technical assistance and respond to contractor’s inquiries that relate to construction projects
• Assist Quantity Surveyor in the assessment of contractor’s claims for variation to contract
• Make sure that all QA/QC documentation/ inspection forms are in-place
• Assist in the preparation of As-built drawings.
• Review as built and O&M manuals for completeness
• Prepare all Method statements, T&C documentation
• Prepare all PRs for all Mechanical packages as per site requirements
• Supervise site Mechanical works including inspection and T&C procedures
• Good Knowledge of relevant legislations, standards, regulations, guides and good practice
• Mentoring and management of foremen
• Actively demonstrate initiative and able to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines efficiently
• Attend construction, coordination and site meetings as required

Requirements/Tələblər

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 plus years in the construction section and technical areas of Mechanical engineering
• Experience working with international companies is an advantage
• Good knowledge in Azerbaijani, English
• Russian language is an advantage
• Knowledge of building design software programs, good knowledge of all Microsoft applications
• Good knowledge in AutoCAD
