Position: Value Chain Excellence Specialists (Black Belt)
Summary:
In this role you will drive the development and implementation of cross functional processes and systems enhancing speed and accuracy, improving efficiency, effectiveness, service quality and customer satisfaction, and reduce operational costs within the dedicated function/department across the clients landscape. You will play a crucial role in continuous process improvement and standardization, identifying root causes of the issues and driving resolution while liaising between the business unit and other functions/departments.
Job Functions:
• Act as the global expert of functional processes, set vision and strategy for the process; ensure that global processes are implemented and best practices are used.
• Lead continuous improvement/optimization of processes/services, facilitate successful implementation of new services; promote the process toward an automated environment
• Review, evaluate and prioritize process/system change requests.
• Lead cross-functional projects, coordinate and manage project teams; apply quality management techniques to problem solving in the project
• Prepare initial recommendations for the changes to policies and procedures; set standards for process performance; act as member of the policy committee
• Coordinate the delivery of critical tasks/ milestones in the project, highlight any risks and propose mitigation
• Give professional guidance to and mentor the service , value stream champions and the process improvement specialists of the functions and geographies
• Challenge stakeholders to maximize opportunities from process improvement initiatives.
• Champion change management across all levels of the organization and prioritize areas of improvement
• Lead initiatives in a cross functional and diverse environment
• Facilitate groups through process mapping, root cause analysis, brainstorming, business impact assessments, gap analysis and project planning
• Partner with technology experts (internal and external as needed) to align processes and systems.
• Create, refine, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Develop, monitor, and report business process improvement against accepted standards.
• Acknowledge and reward team and team member accomplishments, as well as exceptional performance.
• Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in engineering, manufacturing or related field;
• Minimum 5 -10 years of Experience as a black belt in a Manufacturing environments
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (GE, MOTOROLLA, ASQ, ISI)
• Must have led improvement as a minimum 5 projects as black belts with significant Savings to the businesses
• Fluency in English
• Experience gained in a multinational environment
• Consultancy, negotiation, influencing and presentation skills
• Analytical, problem solving and time management skills
• Cross cultural sensitivity
• Availability to travel
