FABRICATION SCHEDULER/PLANNER
As the Fabrication Scheduler/ Planner, you will be responsible for strategic planning and scheduling of production assets to champion successful, efficient and accurate completion of production jobs through the department.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Gather information and produce a job plan that includes accurate device timing and materials required;
• Prioritize production floor asset workloads for both Fabrication Machine room and Fabrication production floor;
• Establish and communicate lead times with Fabrication Project Managers and Production Leads to strategize each job parts path for success;
• Create, review and maintain the production plan and schedule production assets on a job-by-job basis;
• Track progress of production jobs and adjust the schedules and capacity accordingly;
• Evaluate large scope projects to find efficiencies through ganging similar jobs and nesting parts together for efficiency;
• Attend pre-production meetings to offer advice and assistance for ease of production planning and asset availability;
• Evaluate materials to find most economical solution for sizing and yield related to asset ability, timeline and cost;
• Be available at times during evening and weekend hours to answer emails or plan jobs;
• Create and maintain informational documents about specific asset general functions as it relates to productivity;
• Spend time in production to continually grow in knowledge of equipment and process;
• Create Daily, Weekly and Monthly progress Reports
Qualifications and Skills
• 4 years experience in manufacturing planning or scheduling;
• Familiar with manufacturing processes and environments;
• Oral and written communication skills English, Russian & native Azerbaijani;
• Strong organization, self-motivation and decision-making skills;
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project (Primavera ability will be considered as an advantage);
• Good knowledge base of product manufacturing principles and workflows;
• Basic computer skills.
