Position: Mechanical and Electrical design engineer

Job Type Full-time
Job Location: Azerbaijan/Baku
Education: Bachelor

Responsibilities

- Communicate with design coordinator, consultants, subcontractors involved in the project
- Review and check the design of mechanical/electrical systems
- Coordinate the mechanical with various design disciplines
- Review the specification and assist the procurement team in equipment selection
- Manage mechanical projects including review the works of draughtsman
- Alter and modify the design to meet project requirements and eliminate malfunctions.
- Assist on value engineering for the MEP systems
- Attend design and coordination meetings
- Evaluating reports, design and drawings
- Maintaining quality control procedures
- Problem solving

 Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- At least 7 years of experience as design engineer
- Experience working in international design firms will be an advantage
- Knowledge of applicable regulations, local and international standards
- Good knowledge with AutoCAD, Revit and different design software.
- Should have a good command of English, written and oral
