POSITION: PURCHASING CLERK
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Baku Hospitality Group is a young developing Group focused on Service Industry, with operating hotels and restaurants in Baku, Azerbaijan and with future projects to come.
The Group is looking for a Purchasing Clerk who will be an integral part of the Baku Hospitality Group team by providing assistance in all aspects of Purchasing.
• Assist Purchasing Manager in research of new products and services for the Group Hotels and Restaurants;
• Assist Purchasing department in logging - chasing contracts to ensure reduced pricing for all operating areas of the Group;
• Follow purchasing policies, systems and procedures in accordance with Company Procurement Procedures;
• Assist in negotiating food prices, placing daily orders based on requirements, and in prompt delivery as requested.
• Able to work with program and software (such as Materials Controls) related to their job functions;
• Able to interact professionally with third parties outside the hotel, such as suppliers, contractors and competitors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Preferably previous experience in Purchasing is preferred (food and beverage related experience is an asset)
• Ability to read and understand English is a requirement
• Ability to multitask in flexible working environment is important
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and computer skills
• Excels in a fast paced and challenging team-oriented environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
