Job Title: Lifting Equipment Inspection Supervisor

Job Description/Responsibilities: 

• Plan and supervise inspection, testing and certification of:
o lifting accessories, CCU’s and etc.
o mobile cranes, overhead cranes, pedestal cranes of all types.
o forklift, telehandler, excavator and other plant trucks of various types
o fall arrest equipment (full body harness, lanyards, inertial reels and etc.)
• Plan and supervise inspection of lifting equipment and welding points using MPI testing technique
• Plan and supervise reports on non-destructive testing (NDT/MPI/PT) results
• Plan and support inspection team with specific inspection requirements of customers.

Required Experience:

• Quality inspection, testing and reporting experience
• Working knowledge within an engineering environment
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the lifting operation and inspection

Skills, training or special knowledge:

• Good command of Microsoft Office - Excel, Word
• Good command of reading and writing of English language
• Supervisory Skills
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and international standards
• University diploma on technical profession
• Certified by the Lifting Equipment Engineering Association, LEEA part 1 & 2 or an approved equivalent engineering qualification or experience and training.
• ASNT TC 1A level II (or recognised equivalent which complies with EN473) in magnetic particle examination and dye penetrant examination.
