Role: Project Manager

Our company is currently looking for a “Project Manager” to work under the following conditions:

Work Location: Baku, Azerbaijan (Onshore)

Type of Assignment: Contract

Contract Duration: Permanent

Work Schedule: 5 days a week based on 8 hours per day

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: negotiable

Project manager duties and responsibilities:

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Project Manager desired experience:

• Bachelor of science degree in Civil engineering or engineering for technical project managers;
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera or other software for project planning;
• Of the 15 years of experience, a minimum of 5 years should have been a Project Manager in the major projects;
• Proven working experience as a project manager;
• Knowledge of Engineering Codes and Standard applicable to the discipline;
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing;
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written - e-mails, project memos, reports, etc.);
• Excellent organizational skills;
• Positive attitude and good work ethic;
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
• Willingness to travel to project sites, sometimes out-of-town;
• PMP certification is a plus;
• Valid driver’s license.
