Sr. Plumbing Mechanical Engineer

Our company is currently looking for a “Sr. Plumbing Mechanical Engineer” to work under the following conditions:

Work Location: one of regions of Azerbaijan (Onshore)

Type of Assignment: Contract

Contract Duration: Permanent

Work Schedule: 5 days a week based on 8 hours per day

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: negotiable

Candidate age: 35-55

Duties and responsibilities:

• Ability to design a variety of basic to very complex plumbing systems with minimal guidance (plumbing systems: storm, sanitary, vent, water, and gas);
• Understanding of various plumbing systems and system alternatives for proper application of systems to meet project requirements and conditions;
• Possess the experience, knowledge and discernment to select the appropriate systems and/or equipment for a project;
• Layout major plumbing equipment rooms, accounting for constructible installation and equipment service requirements;
• Perform all types of calculations required to design systems, including sizing of source equipment and distribution systems and energy comparative analysis;
• Write and edits all types of plumbing system control sequence of operations, diagrams, and points lists;
• Perform project manager duties as required.

Desired experience:

• BS Architectural Engineering, BS Mechanical Engineering, BS Plumbing Engineer, or equivalent degree;
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Plumbing systems design;
• Excellent understanding of Engineering fundamentals;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar drafting software);
• Self-starter and strong desire to succeed;
• Individual must be a responsible person, able to multi-task and regular attendance is required;
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing;
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written - e-mails, project memos, reports, etc.);
• Excellent organizational skills;
• Positive attitude and good work ethic;
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
• Willingness to travel to project sites, sometimes out-of-town;
• Valid driver’s license.
