Sr. Electrical Engineer - Designer

Our company is currently looking for a “Sr. Electrical Engineer - Designer” to work under the following conditions:

Work Location: one of regions of Azerbaijan (Onshore)

Type of Assignment: Contract

Contract Duration: Permanent

Work Schedule: 5 days a week based on 8 hours per day

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: negotiable

Candidate age: 35-55

Duties and responsibilities:

• Perform study and design work for projects that may include existing facility evaluations, feasibility studies, design, cost estimating, and similar functions;
• Field survey to identify site conditions;
• Code review and compliance;
• Engineering calculations including electrical load calculations, conduit and electrical system sizing, and equipment capacity;
• Able to layout electrical systems;
• Expected to have a thorough understanding of electrical and lighting systems;
• Familiar with construction document organization and preparation;
• Coordination with design work of other disciplines.

Desired experience:

• Batchelor of science degree in Electrical engineering;
• Experience with EPLAM, or similar program desired;
• Of the 15 years of experience, a minimum of 5 years should have been a senior Electrical Engineer in a major project in a reputable engineering consultant;
• Knowledge of Engineering Codes and Standard applicable to the discipline;
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing;
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written - e-mails, project memos, reports, etc.);
• Excellent organizational skills;
• Positive attitude and good work ethic;
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
• Willingness to travel to project sites, sometimes out-of-town;
• Valid driver’s license.
