Job Title: Mechanical Inspector

TWI in Azerbaijan is providing Inspection and NDT Services (3rd party Inspection), Consultancy services of Material, Corrosion Engineering, Research and Consultancy, Failure investigation, Structural Integrity assessment, Welding Engineering, Engineering Facilities (Procurement) WPS & PQR, WQT and international training & Certification (www.twi-global.com).
Responsibilities:
• Report to Chief inspector
• Attend all HOLD points as per ITP requirements.
• To ensure the integrity of the mechanical packages and process piping systems.
• Monitor inspection of storage tanks, static and rotating equipment, HVAC and process piping systems and issue reports as required;
• Monitor the Mechanical works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents, manufacturer's instructions and the procedures manual.
• Monitor the receipt inspection and preservation of mechanical packages;
• Monitor hydrotesting and leak testing activities;
• Monitor the day to day activities of the Contractor` mechanical inspectors i.e. site work inspection as well as inspection of the materials delivered in contractor’s store
• Ensuring that inspections are carried out in time and quality of installation and delivered materials is maintained as per the relevant specifications/standards
• Assist and advise contractor inspector`s on code / specification requirements
• Report non-compliances and unsafe acts observed
• Compile daily and weekly reports.
Requirements:
• Citizenship of the Republic of Azerbaijan
• VOIN;
• 4 years / + of relevant experience;
• Good command of English
• Thorough knowledge of related industry codes & standards;
• Familiar with static and rotating equipment, HVAC, process piping, materials.
• Salary is Negotiable.
