Position: Business Development Manager
Location: Marine Plaza Business Centre (Baku, Azerbaijan)
Salary: Subject to successful candidate’s experience and academic background
Job Description / Key Deliverables:
The successful candidate will work within the Project Origination & Business Development team mainly on local and international projects in the area of transportation & logistics. Person at this position will have opportunities to work with globally famous brands and well-established international companies.
Main Responsibilities:
• Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business;
• Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/principals;
• Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives;
• Participate in pricing the solution/service;
• Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion;
• Preparing and delivering project-based presentations for internal & external clients.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration or international relations;
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in logistics;
• Advanced Power Point and good MS Excel, Word;
• Good knowledge of railway transportation rules;
• Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines, attentiveness to detail;
• Strong presentation and communication skills;
• Fluency in both written and spoken Azerbaijani, Russian & English is a must.
