Site Engineer
Key accountabilities:
• Overseeing construction work
• Undertaking surveys
• Support Construction manager setting out sites and organizing facilities
• Support Construction manager ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, timescales
• Support Construction manager preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
• Checking technical design and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
• Supervising contracted staff
Required skills/experience:
• Accredited degree in engineering.
• Minimum 2 years construction site experience
• Good command of English language.
• Commercial awareness – an understanding of how your actions can affect profitability of a project
• Team working and good communication with subordinates
• Technical skills: AutoCAD design skills , statical analysis awareness in Civil engineering
• Problem solving
• Management skills: Capable of building teams and monitoring at site.
