IT BI/EDWH Specialist

Role and Main responsibilities:

• Deliver quality technical support across Azerconnect and MNO business
• Submit regular reports to the Head of ICT EDWH/BI Unit on a timely basis
• Check consistency of data between all network elements on Mediation and Billing. Upload data on the EDWH
• Manage the design, development, integration and roadmap of EDWH
• Create EDWH Cubes
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues
• Identify and analyse alarms
• Participate in Development and integration of Enterprise Data Warehouse
• Write SQL scripts and PL/SQL code for procedures and packages
• Define and manage SLAs for all ETL jobs, reports and analytics
• Support and improve existing ETL and data quality processes
• Participate in re-engineering and implementing SDLC process across the two MNO’s and Azerconnect IT
• Actively improve SQL knowledge and knowledge sharing and training of colleagues
• Establish and manage automation of daily, weekly, monthly validation processes

Required skills, qualifications and competencies:

• Problem solving skills
• Prompt
• Knowledge of Azerbaijani (fluent), Russian and English (pre-intermediate) languages
• Knowledge of programming language is preferable
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL
• Advanced DB knowledge

Required education and work experience:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Electronic Engineering/Telecom related field or significant relevant experience (minimum 2 years) is a must
