Project Engineering Manager

• Establishing, maintaining and communicating the engineering design scheduel, budget and work breakdown structure
• Ensuring engineering personnel meet project requirements for Suitably Qualified and Experienced Persons (SQEP)
• Project progress reporting
• Technical review of design deliverables
• Identification and management of change control
• Ensure project spend is closely monitored and the forecast spend is within limits Where necessary take rigorous corrective action to correct an over/underspend
• Develop and maintain risk registers
• Ensure compliance with legislative requirements
• Support the Management team in the production of proposals and tenders in accordance with client and Socar-FW commercial requirements
• Ensure the timely preparation of information to enable timely invoicing
• Provide Line Management for Project Engineer staff, including performance review; identify training needs and supporting professional and career development
• Undertake design and the production of engineering deliverables when required to do so
• Lead formal client meetings ensuring a purpose and issuing an agenda and the generation of minutes
• Monitoring of project progress through weekly project meetings and monthly project review meetings
• Ensure Socar-FW’s responsibilities under the contrcats discharged and appropriate appointments have been made by the client
• Maintaining the Project Management Plan
