Position: Budgeting and Financial Analysis Expert

Department: Budgeting and Controlling Department

Line manager: HOU Budgeting and Financial Analysis

Main responsibilities

• To create and manage effective communication with other units/departments/subsidiary companies on budget preparation
• To ensure the effective organization and conduction of annual budgeting process
• To ensure timely completion of budgeting cycle according to predefined budget timeline
• To ensure development of budgeting templates, provide with full assistance to budget holders on budget preparation
• To maintain Budget Compilation
• To ensure Monthly Financial analysis of company’s performance, prepare explanatory notes on significant deviations
• To prepare and analyze monthly budget vs actual reports
• To elaborate new reports based on management request
• To implement and main budgeting module in ERP (Oracle)
• To carry out other tasks related to the position assigned by management
• To respect and follow internal regulations and procedures

Secondary responsibilities 

• Ad hoc tasks and analysis

Qualifications, Experience & Skills required for this position

Education 

• Bachelor/Master degree in Accounting/Finance
• ACCA/CIMA/CPA certificate is an advantage

Experience 

• 3 years in budgeting and financial analysis field

Special professional skills 

• Strong analytical/mathematical thinking and communication skills

Computer skills 

• MS Office Programs (especially strong excel skills)
• ERP systems (Oracle is an advantage

Languages 

• Fluent English and Azerbaijani languages. Russian will be an advantage

Personal skills Behavioral 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Analytical skills
• Detail oriented
• Conceptual thinking

Additional knowledge and skills 

• Telecom or Big four experience is preferable
