Contracts/Cost Administrator

Work Location: Baku (head office)

Education: Higher education, Economic Sciences, Finance, Internal Audit and Cost Control;

Work Experience:

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Cost Control in oil/gas, engineering, construction industries;

Other Skills/Certificates Required:

- Knowledge of Languages: Azerbaijani (fluent) / English (fluent), Russian (fluent)
- MS Excel level of knowledge – proficient
- Numerical skills – excellent
- Basics of accounting principles – is an advantage
- Reading & listening comprehension of contractual language (English/Azeri/Russian) is must
- Analytical capabilities in coordinating the information between project stakeholders

Responsibilities:

- Administration of Contracts and Sub-Contracts in commercial sense
- Keep control, systemize, coordinate contractual liabilities and rights on each contract
- Establish and manage a cost control system (cost coding) with the ability of producing instant reporting on funds receivable and funds payable;
- Establish budget requirements for each contract and measure any deviations from the budget
- A combined Cost Status, Cash flows, Profit and Loss reporting on all Contract & Sub-Contract
- Review and valuation of payment applications from Sub-contractors
- Review and preparation of payment applications on main Contracts
- Create a cost awareness atmosphere among project team;
- Support the Project Controls Manager in the preparation of the Project close-out report and the cost feed-back data to Project Control and Commercial Departments.
Fully adhere, at all times and irrespective of the work place, to Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) policies, procedures and requirements;
Perform other related duties as assigned by Superior.
