We are currently looking for a Country Manager.

Summary/Objective

The country manager is responsible for the organization of the day-to-day operational management, business development within the certain geographical area with objective of maximizing company’s profit.

The duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Manage company’s operational, administrative, financial issues.
• Defines and implements annual sales plans and provides regular reports to the headquarters.
• Assists in or produces feasibility studies/business plans for new projects.
• Coordinates all departments and ensures operational and strategic goals are achieved.
• Recruit staff and monitor their performance.
• Coordinates the logistics operations, including warehousing activities.
• Represents the company externally with government, statutory/regulatory bodies and business partners/allies.
• Takes on full P&L accountability of the company
• Develops a successful development strategy for the country
• Performs market research and competitor’s analysis.
• Supervise the new Project/s from A to Z (including the construction supervision)
• Negotiates commercial conditions/contracts and ensuring their profitability

Personal skills and requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (MBA or international background is an advantage)
• Previous experience working in a Country manager, Business Development or a similar role.
• Proven record of generating new business and achieving revenue growth.
• Sufficient experience in retail business.
• Experience in working with senior management in a corporate/business environment
• Strategic Thinking
• Financial Management skills
• Excellent Communication and Negotiation Skills
• Time Management
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Programs Knowledge (MS Office)
• Maximal self-disciplined
• Country Manager will be frequently traveling and stay overseas, so experience of living abroad is desirable. The Country Manager will also need to be sensitive to cultural differences.
