Title: Procurement Specialist

Job duties:
● Responsible for defined commodities stipulated on organizational chart, or any other additional commodity assigned to him / her
● Analyze the purchase request from the user departments and determine the appropriate method of procurement, Quotation, Tender and Request for Proposal.
● Provide assistance to user departments, when required, in the preparation of specification, etc.
● Responsible for strategic sourcing initiatives and key suppliers
● Analyzes all markets to find new potential suppliers with lowest Total Cost of Ownership
● Sets up yearly benefit plan for commodities responsible for
● Executes purchase requisitions i.e. goods and materials
● Analyses quotations received, obtains rectification of delivery.
● Prepares purchase orders and local contracts based on approved requisitions.
● Coordinates with Corporate Procurement for volume pooling and joint purchases
● Coordinates deliveries with the company’s needs.
● Adheres to labor protection and safety regulations during the working process.
● Deals with all day-to-day transactions according to defined guidelines
● Reporting to Head of contracts and procurement
Requirements:
● Knowledge of payment and purchasing processes and procedures
● Operating risks recognition, the concept of Total Purchasing Price
● Knowledge of the concept of Commodity Execution Process
● Ability to work independently under pressure
● Strong analytical skills and decision making
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
● Results and team orientation
● Highly motivated and Initiative
● Strong reporting and presentation skills
● PC literacy on advanced user level
Education / Experience:
● University Degree (preferably in Technical field)
● At least 2-4 years of relevant working experiences within international company
● Fluent in Azeri and English both written and verbal, Russian is an advantage
