Reporting and Budgeting Analyst
An organisation is looking for a Reporting and Budgeting Analyst to be responsible and accountable for the all financial and ad-hoc reporting of the organisation, Reporting and budgeting analyst’s responsibilities include storing data, creating reports, analysing reports and sharing findings with various company departments.
Responsibilities
• Prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual reports and manage the internal and external review for these documents
• Regularly coordinating the budgeting and planning process and monitoring their outcomes
• Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
• Assist in the co-ordination of annual external audit
• Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements. Research, review, and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing report procedures and systems and develop strategies for enhancing or leveraging these processes and systems
• Support month end and year end closing
• Create and coordinate the preparation and release of financial and management reports
• Work directly with decision makers and end users to understand, define and document current and possible future reporting goals, needs and requirements
• Research and recommend key performance indicators in order to provide better intelligence in reporting
• Retrieve and utilize information from the accounting system and other data sources
• Communicate and explain finance issues and evolving finance guidance to the team
Requirements
• Proven working experience-minimum 3 years in finance, audit, reporting or budgeting, planning (Big 4 experience- highly preferable)
• Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in finance, economics (ACCA, CİMA, CPA certification/ in process of obtaining is an advantage)
• Excellent Azerbaijani, Russian, English – verbal, written communication skills
• Possess the skill to creatively solve problems and propose solutions with minimal direction
• Strong interpersonal/ customer service skills, presentation skills, ability to communicate with others, demonstrated project management skills,
• Team work, detail oriented, able to prioritize work and multi-task in a fast paced setting, willing to take on new projects and be flexible
• Proficiency in MS Office programs
