Health & Safety Specialist
Location: Office
Department: QHSE
Employment Type: Full-time
Assist Head of QHSE Department in organization and management of common Health and Safety and activities within the Company.
Key responsibilities:
Implementation of company H&S policy, procedures and requirements of OHSAS-18001 and ISO-14001
Supporting all the company operations by dealing with Health and Safety activities
Provision of work sites with norms, regulations instructions, signs and posters
Conducting periodical monitoring and audits to find out existing conditions at worksites
To control training of personnel in terms of proper using of personal protective equipment and rescue devices and elimination of possible emergency and fire cases
Execution of preventive and corrective measures on time
Organization of periodic site inspections of HSE equipment
To be involved in the assessment, evaluation and development of control measures related to the Company’s operations
To ensure compliance with Labor regulations, safety norms and regulations as well as other related normative documents
To control safety aspects of each activity, safe use of equipment, technical integrity of buildings, plants and other establishments
To ensure required amount and usefulness of protective and rescue equipment at worksites
Execution of orders and assignments of Head of QHSE Department.
Required general qualifications of the candidate:
• Higher education;
• At least 3 years of experience in related fields;
• Good communication and influencing skills;
• Ambition to succeed;
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment;
• Multilingual (Azeri, English, Russian);
• Software skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Outlook).
