Driller is responsible to the Senior Toolpusher for the day to day operation on the installation and for the health and safety of their crew and any others working under their authority.
Key responsibilities:
To maintain daily drilling records including accurate and effective handovers
To observe and monitor well conditions through drilling parameters. In the event of downhole problems, take appropriate action
Plan towards operations such that they can be carried out in a safe and efficient manner and contingency equipment and plans are accounted for
To supply information for drilling and other various report i.e. mud figures and chemicals used
To be responsible for the safe supervision of personnel engaged in activities in their area of responsibility or for which they have been allocated responsibility by their supervisor
To monitor, supervise and coach any Service company or Vendor company representatives that may be involved in the operations on the rig
To make pre-kick calculations and ensure that all equipment and procedures for well control are in place at all times
To attend onshore or offshore meetings and additional training, as required.
Required general qualifications:
• Higher education;
• Attain and maintain an accredited Well Control (IWCF) or WellCAP certification ( IADC) at the Supervisor level;
• At least 5 year experience in the relevant field;
• Ability to lead and supervise assigned team;
• Ambition and passion to safely succeed;
• Multilingual (Azeri, English, Russian);
• Software skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Outlook).
