HSE Inspector - Heavy Equipment Inspector

Experience: Minimum 5 years

The purpose of this position is to close the safety gaps due to increament of work places, working voulmes and number of equipment and manpower.

• Equipment inspectors check and inspect equipment and equipment components to ensure they are in good repair and meet construction project requirements
• Experience succeeded in lifting equipment inspection such as Mobile crane, tower and luffing crane, overhead crane, forklift, gondola, elevators and MEWP
• Heavy equipment Inspector must be familiar with lifting equipment international code, and standards and be aware of  local standards on Construction Health & Safety 
• Check mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies for alignment and proper functioning
• Test and check electrical assemblies and wiring for proper connections (on equipment)
• Prepare reports and notify appropriate people of equipment problems and deficiencies
• Inspector should conduct daily / weekly inspection and check all Lifting devices (shackles, wire ropes, gears, slings etc.)
• Ensure compliance with codes and standard
• Heavy equipment inspector can right inspection and technical reports in English
• Heavy equipment Inspector has a good source of information on courses and training providers for this occupation. Technician or technology courses and/or diplomas may be required.
• Construction equipment may be located in a yard, shop or on a construction site, and equipment inspectors go to wherever the equipment is located.
• As with all careers in the construction industry, safety is the top priority. While on construction or other job sites, equipment inspectors must be aware of and comply with all relevant safety policy and procedures

Experience in industrial plant construction minimum 3 years ;Knowledge and experience with HSE standards and practices is desirable.

Intermediate English verbal and written skills.; Computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office and e-mail.

Education: Qualified in HSE trainings
