The (Building) Facility Manager is responsible for the maintenance and services of work facilities to ensure that they meet the needs of the tenants and residents. He/she is managing and administrate the Building (or offices or apartments) for the following tasks, all of which he/she is deemed competent to undertake:
KEY ACCOUNTABLITIES:
management and supervising and coordinating work of service teams, contractors and suppliers;
directing, coordinating and planning essential central services such as reception, security, technical maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering (if any), waste disposal and etc.;
ensuring the building meets health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with government regulations and legislation; keeping staff safe;
planning best allocation and utilisation of space and resources for the building, or re-organising current premises;
checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies;
coordinating and leading one or more teams to cover various areas of responsibility;
using performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement;
responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and dealing with the consequences;
financial forecasting/budgeting and plannning and overseeing building work/renovation; advising on cost and time saving measures;
lease management (if need);
writing reports;
liasing with representatives of local authorities.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
5-8 years of working experience in a relevant position;
Most entrants into the profession possess qualifications in building services related disciplines, including building/hotel services, engineering and business management;
Driving licence
Good command in the English and Russian languages (oral and written);
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
Computer literate (data base experience preferable).
