Field Officer/Psychologist

Minimum required knowledge & experience:

• High Education (University or Institute) in Psychology
• 4 years work experience in a similar field of activity
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Azerbaijani
• Very good computer literacy
• Autonomy, good rigor, method and analytical skills
• Management and communication skills
• Good knowledge of the political, social and cultural  assigned environment
• Excellent team-player, self-starter and capacity to work towards multiples objectives and prioritize

Responsibilities:

• Supports the psychosocial delegate in the implementation of the psychosocial program for the families of missing
• Supports the psychosocial delegate in providing training to accompaniers with the aim of learning to become a trainer of the accompaniment program
• Collects and compiles information according to a given procedure
• Conducts data analysis and generates statistical reports
• Drafts simple and standard reports/statistics
• Executes field tasks mainly independently
• Contributes to the implementation and follow-up of a project (within the department)
• Makes written reporting on the activities including contribution to the WoR, BfR, PfR
• Implements and follows-up a project (within the department) independently
• Translates documents for informal use, non-institutional and institutional documents
• Provides solutions to a wide range of problems to the superior
• Develops and maintains contacts with partners and other interlocutors
• Ready to be available outside working hours for emergency calls from families of missing and local partners

 

This is a full-time position with a duty station in Baku, and a selected candidate will be hired as soon as possible.
