Amec Foster Wheeler is a major Engineering and Construction Company involved in Oil and Gas Projects in Azerbaijan is looking for Accountant (National)

The successful candidates should have the following capabilities:

• Part or Fully Qualified accountant - UK ог US qualification in addition to а degree qualification
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in а finance department. 
• Have excellent English and Azerbaijan language skills both written & verbal.
• Good knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft package (e.g. Word, Powerpoint) and other computer based applications

• University Degree in Accounting & Finance.
• Experienced on usage of accounting software (1C experiences will be preferred)
• Teamwork oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills,
• Analytical mind with strong planning and organizational skills,
• Self-motivated and result oriented,
• Experienced on IFRS reporting and consolidation
• Experience in finance function within international engineering соmpany.
• BIG 4 accountancy experience
• International academic/assignment exposure

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:

• Compilation and maintenance of accounting procedures
• Enter/review expense  invoices to accounting records in accordance with company procedures
• Raise/review payment orders in accordance with company procedures
• To make/review payroll calculations and processing
• To coordinate internal re-charge invoices
• To perform/review assigned controls
• Budgets / Forecasts – assist with the preparation of annual budget and forecast updates.
• Monthly overhead reporting of actual vs budget.
• Cash flow – manage the process of weekly cash flow monitoring and forecasting.
• To perform other accounting tasks as assigned by senior members.
