Buyer (Heavy Duty Vehicles’ spare parts)

Key accountabilities:

• Receive and analyze the parts, consumables and service request forms coming from the transportation department.
• Arrange purchasing the parts, lubricants, consumables and services.
• Create a list of minimum stock items
• Arrange for warehouse coordination with minimum stock items.
• Select suppliers for repair services.
• Screen the suppliers by visiting sites office and repair shops.
• Participate in the repair acceptance of the vehicle with the repair value of over 1000 AZN
• Arrange return to warehouse of the items that were changed on the vehicles.
• Lease with Pasha internal team to deliver the necessary supplies for speedy deliveries – (24 hour service)
• Analyze and tender rental fees, inspect facilities, prequalify renters.

Required skills/experience:

• At least 3-4 years of procurement experience with truck, tractor and vehicle parts
• Must oversee at least 80-100 truck garage
• Must know the major details, their expected repair needs
• Major details - expected time of service
• Must know pricing and major suppliers
• Must know lubricant types and their approximate quantities for a truck, vehicle.
• Lubricant prices, tire and consumable prices.
• Must know – purchase order, contract and warehousing procedures.
• Must have experience with international supplies.
• Knowledge of part names in Azerbaijani is a MUST
