Today we are looking for a successful candidate to fill in the position of 

CS Core Planning and Optimization Engineer

Role and Main responsibilities:

• This include detailed planning and dimensioning of the Core network elements
• CS Planning and Optimization Engineer needs to make sure that the planning activities are met on time with the required deliverables and quality in continuously changing environment
• The planning environment will be 2G, 3G, 4G and IMS networks, and all networks containing BSCs,RNC or a combination of both. This requires a  knowledge of the new technologies to be closely followed up
• CS Planning and Optimization Engineer should also ensure that the HW, SW and license of the CS core elements capacities should meet marketing inputs
• According to needs of the new technologies, marketing demands and resilience of the network, planning and dimensioning of the C
• S core part can be either HW, SW, License extension to the current network elements or new network elements or a new system
• Reviews Business Requirement Document (BRD) and ensures vendor implement according to commercial requirements
• Participating in vendor selection process including gathering requirements, issuing RFQ, participating in evaluation with other departments
• CS Planning and Optimization Engineer plans optimal and resilient network topology and its improvement
• Plans speech routing network, network redesign, signalling routing network, standard translation/configuration redefinition
• CS Core engineer plans the transmission (port) needs (IP, TDM/ATM) between the CS core network elements according to network topology, traffic increasing for the planned period  and its own traffic characteristic how it distributes the traffic.  This can be either new request or extension to the current transmission. This plan is an input for the Transmission Planning Engineer
• Plans the Interconnection transmission needs between POIs (ISP, PLMN)
• CS Core Network Planning Engineer analyses KPI reports of CS part of the network. Monitoring the performance of CS Core network elements. CP/UP link optimization. Monitoring and analysing the NE performance
• Raising CR (Change request) for modifications and corrections of the Core Elements. Attending company meeting and providing network performance presentation
• Plans the Core Network Elements for the planned period according to Marketing inputs, new technologies, new strategies of the company and vendors Road Map including new features
• Plans implementation schedule of the new additions to the network
• Follows up all the process.
Provides the name and their numbers for the new CS Core Network elements according to naming and numbering procedure and check observance of it
• Creates and publishes the CS Core Network Planning Performance report in a weekly period
• Follows up the HW, SW and license capacity usage of the CS Core Network Elements
• DeveloCS the planning environments via a new tool or current tools
• Plans the implementation schedule for the new deployment or dismantling of the CS elements according to new conditions, defined  new network topology or new technological systems
• Joins to the meetings and plans of the network dimensioning, transmission needs, HW, SW and license capacity need of the CS core elements and prepare dimensioning booklet
• KeeCS up the current agreements related part.

Required education and work experience:

• University degree in technical science(preferably in IT, Electronic Engineer or Telecommunication area)
• Strong Telecom knowledge
• Extensive experience in Telecoms/New Technologies and Services in worldwide, Core CS equipment planning;
• 3+ years’ work experience  in wireless/ Information and Communication technologies industry
