Today we are looking for a successful candidate to fill in the position of
IP Backbone Administrator
Role and Main responsibilities:
• Installing, tuning and maintenance of Active and Passive Network Equipment
• Troubleshooting of problems on network levels including hardware and software problems
• Participate in the development, delivery, and support of new technical infrastructure systems, tools and technologies according technical eco system development targets/plans
• Documenting infrastructure systems including hardware and software systems
• Regularly analyze syslog reports and react accordingly; Inform all related teams and departments for any service effective problems on the network in time
• Plan and perform preventive maintenance works
• Regular controlling of network KPI’s and to start immediate investigation for root cause and initiate action plan for improvement of worth KPI’
• Perform regular backup of system and configurations files
• Respects deadlines and organizes tasks accordingly
• To travel to company premises in order to support tech operation
• To work in non-traditional business hours in support of tech operations
• 24X7 on call support for related technical Infrastructure
• Other duties may be assigned as required by operation needs
• To be responsible for Core IP network elements or other assigned platform uptime per node according to company defined target
• To be responsible for execution of approved work orders and solutions from engineering department as well as from vendor support to problems encountered on the network or on regular basis
• Execution of the duties in compliance with the procedures and instructions
• Maintains good relations with all teams and departments, develop team working
• Execute line manager’s and department heads verbal and written instructions to ensure fulfillment of work duties

• Improvement of existing systems
• Analysis of network load and traffic optimization
• Control 3rd party companies works related with Tech Dep and SLA measurement/reporting
• Report on system statuses, failures, violations, performed preventive works and actions
• To bear material responsibility for the related equipment in Tech warehouse
• Develop and evaluate responses to RFQs
• To carry out duties according Network Operations policy and procedures
Required education and work experience:
• University Degree in Technical Science
• 3 years ‘ work experience in IP Networking
• Hands-on experience in converged networking and security

• CCNA certificate is must
• CCNP is preferable
• Ability to plan routine works

• To be available 24x7
• Fluent Azerbaijani, upper intermediate English and Russian
• Excellent MS Office skills
• Driving license is preferable
