We are a multi-skilled Engineering Department within a service company specialising in crane maintenance and lifting operations.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced mechanical project engineer to manage a project through manufacturing completion and offshore mobilisation and execution. 

The engineer will also be expected to support companies other projects with technical guidance and input.
 
This is a Baku, Azerbaijan based position.
 
Main Responsibilities:

To develop concept designs into working production. This will involve but will not be limited to:

• Compiling and reviewing design inputs and functional requirements
• Designing detailed components
• Drawing component and assembly drawings
• Document Control to company and client standards.
• Ongoing liaison and project reporting to clients
• Preparation of detailed engineering reports
• Supervise the design, procurement, and manufacture of unit designs
• Plan and supervise the packing, shipping and offshore installation of projects
• Plan and organise the mobilisation of personnel in support of project operations
• Supervise the testing of unit designs
• Assist other department personnel in ongoing manufacture and maintenance projects as required.
• Undertake customer and vendor visits in support of specific projects or business development as and when required. Some International travel may be required along with offshore visits
 
Experience:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar Qualification.
• Minimum of 5 yrs+ in a previous Project Engineering role or Design Engineer position
• Experience of Stress Strain Analysis and Static Calculations an advantage
• Experience with control systems (Electric / Hydraulic / Pneumatic) an advantage
• Exposure to Oil & Gas, Offshore and Manufacturing environments
• Strong CAD skills, preferably with AutoCAD.
• Computer Literate in MS Office Packages
