Job Title: Project Engineer
Prime responsibilities and duties
• Responsible for ensuring that all activities are in compliance with Client standards, procedures & requirements.
• Prepare Method Statements & Construction Execution Plans when required
• Should be aware of scope and scope changes if any
• Preparation of Site Engineering Queries (Technical Queries)
• Handling of NCR (Non Conformance Report) and ensure that all indicated actions/issues has been eliminated and corrective actions followed by construction team.
• Reviewed engineering designs, drawings and other related engineering documents to identify potential problems ahead of time and proactively implement solutions.
• Preparation of Construction Workpacks
• Provide technical assurance to the project that all aspects of the proposed Scope of Work (SOW) have been fully addressed within each work pack.
• Interface with Planning and Construction Teams to optimize build sequence and commissioning sequence
• Interface with Construction team to ensure all items required for construction readiness are clearly identified within the Workpack
• Responsible for any addendums and updates/modifications, growth, etc to Workpacks
• Updating the Project Workpack register
• Preparation of Construction progress reports & report progress to the Team Leader
• Interface with other Azfen departments when required
• Interface with other Company and other organizations where required.
• Other reasonable duties as specified by Team Leader
Core competencies
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in relevant field and on BP Operated projects.
• Higher Technical / Engineering Education
• Knowledge at least of one of the disciplines (Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil)
• Competent and efficient at entering computer data paying particular attention to detail
• English (intermediate)
