FF&E Architect/Draftsman

DDLAR GROUP of companies operating in construction industry is looking for FF&E Architect/Draftsman.

The successful candidates should have:

Minimum of a Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Architecture/Interior design
Minimum of 5 years of working experience
Proficient in Autocad, Microsoft Office especially Excel and ADOBE suite
Proficient language skills in written and verbal Azerbaijani, English and Russian
Familiarity and knowledge of both traditional and contemporary style of interior materials, furnishings, accessories and artwork as well as architectural materials and it’s application in design projects
Passionate and aware of global design trends and FF&E supplies
Strong knowledge in sourcing for high-end FF&E and finishes on large and small projects
Familiarity and comprehension of working on FF&E project cost and budget control
Strong organizational and time management skills

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:

Select and prepare specific sheets for all selected and custom items and form an Excel spreadsheet with full information for approval and ordering all FF&E items 
Prepare sample boards to include, furniture, fabrics, and accessories
Check and document all necessary specifications, schedules and material references; approved colours, finishes, materials required for presentation brochures
Develop necessary and appropriate budgets required for the assigned project
Request pricing from suppliers
Assist in the preparation of Purchase Orders
Review shop drawings and follow up on all manufactured items
Contact with client/consultants/vendors on all FF&E matters and attend site meetings as required
To be regularly informed and updated on various FF&E supplies and materials related to design/decoration purposes and budgets
Update and maintain the FF&E library
Carry out all the above responsibilities and all necessary documentation within settled time schedule and meet project progress schedule
