MEP  Specialist

Job description

- Advise the Project Director of any technical aspects of the mechanical services that may affect construction progress, e.g. quality or snagging.
- Manage the day to day work of the MEP team.
- In conjunction with the document controller, ensure that the filing/logging of the MEP documentation is undertaken in line with the project handbook and continually monitor the same.
- Review Contractor’s installation method statements
- Review Contractor’s shop drawings against the design [tender] drawings for compliance with the design intent and return to Project Director with appropriate comments / approval within the specified contractual period (normally 10 working days).
- Review contractor’s mechanical shop drawing in conjunction with the structural and electrical engineers to ensure engineering co-ordination and advise the Project Director accordingly.
- Chair MEP design team meetings, as required.
- Advise on long lead MEP items that may affect progress of the works
- Prepare the MEP section of the Project Managers monthly progress report.
- Maintain a site diary.

Work schedule: 6 days in a week, from 08.00 till 17.00

Requirements

- Higher education (Mechanical and Electrical  engineer )
- Fluent written and spoken English, Azerbaijani
- Should read drawings 
- Knowledge of relevant industry Codes and Standards
- Minimum 3 years experience in international construction projects
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Archicad)
- Able to prepare reports

Salary 2000-2500 azn
