The global oilfield provider of engineered services and products primarily to the offshore oil and gas industry declares job vacancy to the following position:

Job Title: Coating Inspector

Location: Baku, Azerbaijan

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

Responsible for quality assurance of all coating related activities of pipelines and equipment and carry out any related duty as specified by client.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Perform quality assurance on all related coating activities as required by the client.
Review and approve all necessary vendors coating procedure, QA/QC coating documents, method statements and inspection test plans (ITP’s) relating to coating application.
Participate in the review and technical clarifications process with the client and coating contractors.
Provide technical support and solutions to projects and other disciplines with regard to coating selection, and corrosion mitigation.
Provide technical assistance and guidance on relevant coating queries for the responsible group by review of client procedures and specifications.
Liaise with the relevant Senior Inspection Engineers and issue comprehensive inspection reports related to inspection findings and recommendations.
Perform all relevant coating tests and examinations as required.
Participate to the development of company coating inspection procedures and inspection test plans.

Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.
Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.

E – Essential
P - Preferred

Coating Inspector Level II - NACE (E)
NDT Inspector Level II (P)

EXPERIENCE (WORK):

E – Essential
P - Preferred

WORK:

Minimum 5 years in the field of plant and equipment inspection.
Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of inspection, procedures and standards associated with coating of plants and equipment.
Must be familiar with coating QA/QC systems and procedures.
Ability to generate a team approach to problem solving and a good communicator.
